Brunch at Brisbi's Lakefront Restaurant & Bar
Brisbi's harborfront restaurant/bar is the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend brunch. The view is wonderful and the food comes quickly.
We started with Bloody Marys, of course, which were well seasoned with your standard garnishes. Our server was very prompt and probably introduced himself to us 4 times. We get it, dude, your name is Brandon. But hey, I'll take overly enthusiastic over crummy service any day.
Our food came out very quickly. The crab cakes benedict were delicious, save for a few shells in the crab cakes. Their BLT has fried green tomatoes, which is a refreshing take on a classic.
They were even accommodating for the toddler in our group, who wanted beans for breakfast. The server was able to get the chef to make an order of red beans and rice, which appeased our young brunch companion.
Overall, the service was great (despite our server checking on us with, and I kid you not, I'm actually quoting him... "drive-by thumbs up!") and the food was tasty. I'll definitely be back.
