Despite the heat and threat of rain, we decided to check out the 3rd annual Beignet Fest.
Pros:
Lots of vendors with a wide variety of beignet options, both savory and sweet
Ticket lines moved quickly to purchase tickets needed to purchase beignets
List of foods and prices (# of tickets) available on the website prior to the event
Kid friendly entertainment
Delicious food!
Cons:
Zero shade
Minimal seating
Long lines for food
